Living Like Milk

Living Like Milk
The best milk is one that is drawn from a cow, early in the morning. It is the purest and most tasty milk. From it, you can make cheese, cream cheese, butter, sweets and several other delicious derivatives.

We can compare the pure milk to the way God wants us to live, because it's unique in flavor. It is not easy to live purely, however, by exercising the will of God, we can achieve the wonders that He has reserved for us, such as the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit and many blessings!

The carton milk, although good, is a processed and pasteurized milk. The flavor is similar to that of pure milk, but it does not have the same nutrients and vitamins, because some of them were lost during these processes. You cannot get as many derivatives of this type of milk, and even if you do get something, its nutrients will also be in less quantity.

The same happens when Christians seek to be light. We want to drink the milk, savoring the pure taste, but we strive to wake up early, go to the barn and get the milk from a cow. It is easier to seek the box at the supermarket, shaping the teachings of the Church in the most convenient way for our life. Sometimes we even give a different taste to the milk by adding chocolate and etc., but from such we cannot obtain butter, cheese and sweets. The same happens with light Christians who do not always achieve the gifts and fruits of the Spirit. We no longer experience the pure taste of grace for our own lack of interest.

And what about the powder milk? It's delicious and practical. You can use at any time, carry it anywhere...just mix it with water and drink. That's when we only remember about the Church in sickness and in pain.

We also have artificial milk, extracted from wheat, soy, almond, rice and other things. We can compare them to those who live a false Christianity, where the looks can be deceiving, but the essence is a lie.

May the Holy Spirit encourage us to wake up early every day and seek the raw substance from the source.
