Roberta Abreu Columnist
Roberta Pimenta de Abreu was born in Rio de Janeiro city, Rio de Janeiro – Brazil, on March 12, 1992.

She encountered God when she moved to the United States, in 2003.

She has served in the youth group, social relations ministry, intercessors, spiritual development and currently leads the Confirmation education.

A psychology student, Roberta believes it is the Lord’s calling to her life.

In this career, she wishes to proclaim God to those she meets.

Her dream is to be what God wants, leading the youth to the feet of the Lord.

Her hobbies are to read, to travel, to dance and to practice longboard.

Luiz Costa

Luiz Costa Columnist
Luiz Wagner Gomes da Costa was born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais – Brazil, on April 16, 1982.

Although raised in a Catholic family, it was in 2006 that he felt the calling to serve.

In 2007, in another retreat, he had the confirmation to surrender to a missionary life.

Every day he is more fascinated by the Catholic Church and to serving the community.

A theater graduate, Luiz is the head of Louvation’s theatrical group.

His dream is to help the Louvation Mission grow, and to form a missionary family.

He is devoted to Mary and Saint Michael.

His hobbies are listening to music and lectures, singing, acting, going out with friends and going to church.

Cristiano Silva

Cristiano SilvaCristiano Mendes da Silva was born in Suzano, São Paulo, Brazil, on August 29, 1986.

His encounter with Christ happened in 2002. A seminarian friend, Adilio, taught Cristiano about God and took him to many retreats.

His friend’s relationship with God served as testimony to help our columnist to find God in himself. After one of these retreats, Cristiano heard the call to proclaim Jesus everywhere he goes.

Since then, he has served in the youth group spiritual development, acolyte and preacher whenever and wherever needed. 

Because of his friend’s strong influence on Cristiano’s faith, he finds it very important to be a channel of grace in other people’s lives.

His dream is to continue living and proclaiming the Word of God in different places, as well as to form a family.

His hobbies are reading, watching movies and playing soccer.

Michael Roas

Michael Roas
Michael Neiva Roas was born in Belo Horizonte on May 3rd, 1986.

Raised in a Catholic family and a student of Catholic schools, Michael lived his faith by tradition.

It was in 2007, in a retreat with the Brazilian Consecrated Lay Community New Song singer Dunga, held in Fort Myers, Florida, that he felt the calling to serve God.

Since then, Michael served as acolyte and in the youth group JOBUC. In Jobuc, he was part of the social ministry, intercession ministry and leadership.

Now he faces the challenge to evangelize through Formation Articles and as a columnist for the Louvation Mission.

He dreams to travel the world, raise a family and go to Heaven, and always be more willing to serve God.
