Femusic Margate

Music, play, dance and preaching. That's what the Femusic that took place in Saint Vincent parish in Margate, FL, on November 19 and 20, 2011, was all about.
The catholic music festival, which was first brought to Florida in Fort Myers, brought to light many talents of the community. On the first day of the event, two categories of music were presented: interpretation and original.
On the second day, Luiz Carvalho of Recado Community, specially invited to this event, preached about vocation and liturgy. On the same day, the Louvation Band performed various original songs, including Mistério de Amor, winner of the Fort Myers Femusic.
The Louvation Faces group also performed with the play Vocation, where a messenger of God tries to take the real light, Jesus, to three young women. At the beginning, he is rejected by their selfishness and indifference. Thus, they're left in the darkness. But at the end, he is victorious and the three let the light shine in order to discover their Mission in their community.
