gincana-2012
Approximately 100 kids, from the ages 6 to 12, watched and took part on the play Adventures in Whistle Land performed by the Louvation Faces group on March 31, 2012 at Saint Vincent Catholic Church, Margate, Florida.

The story took place on the Whistle Land, where the character Popcorn was trying hiding from the witch, Empress of Evil, who wanted to take away the happiness of the people. The Empress made three sins come to life in a magic potion - Laziness, Lie and Disobedience – in order to hunt the people of that land.

Popcorn and her two friends, GPS and Mr. Google, travel on a quest to find a super hero that can confront the Empress. On their way to find the Super Virtus hero, the kids had to participate in various activities in order to take the play to next scene. In each activity, they were tested against the three sins that the witch had developed.

I Florida Youth Encounter

encontrao-2012
Our dear Blessed John Paul II always fought for the youth and with the youth because he always believed that the future of the Church and of society are in great danger. Without young people who fight for true values, society ends up destroying itself, and the people who would be the solution of tomorrow, end up being manipulated by media influences.

Just as the enemy gets hard to attract the young, our Lord does not give up either. That's why the I Florida Youth Encounter took place on February 12, 2012 in Saint Vincent Catholic Church, in Margate. The event's main idea was to show who God truly is, one who never changes and who loves us unconditionally.

The Louvation Mission participated with a lecture by Eder Omar, who spoke about being a true youth healed in Jesus Christ.

Carnaval In Port Saint Lucie – 2012

carnaval-2012
In its sixth consecutive year, the prayer group Mary Mother of Mercy, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, held its Carnaval with Christ Retreat on February 18th and 19th, 2012.

This year's theme was "Divine Greatness and Men's Smallness". Besides the lectures and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, the retreat also featured its traditional Art Gallery. In this activity, the participants are divided into groups and each group must present a skit pre-determined by the event's coordinator.

The Louvation Band was in charge of the retreat's musical animation, together with the Brazilian music ministry of Port Saint Lucie.

Also in this year's event, there was a competition for a traditional carnaval song, known as "marchinha". Each prayer group composed its own song and presented it on stage. The jury was composed by the Louvation Band members, which chose the Sarasota group with the "marchinha" named Mamãe Eu Quero (Mom I want this). It will be the main song of the 2013 Carnaval with Christ Retreat.
